Will transfers between my own devices ever cost money?

No. Moving files between devices you own is free forever. That is a public promise, in writing.

What does the relay see on a paid plan versus the free plan?

The same: ciphertext only. Encryption, mutual TLS, and the blind relay are identical on every plan. Paid plans buy convenience, scale, and speed — never safety.

What will Pro and Teams cost?

Prices are set when the plans launch and stated plainly on this page — no countdown timers or fake discounts. Early-access users get Pro features free for a period as thanks.
